Checklist for Moving to Assisted Living
February 2017
If you are like me, remembering everything I need to take when I travel is a challenge. Moving to assisted living, also called community care or seniors’ housing, requires much more planning. This is a permanent move, but requires a lot of downsizing from a lifetime of collecting “stuff.” Based on experience with family and friends, and from reviewing other such checklists that I did not find thorough and/or user friendly, I have developed my own. I hope you find it helpful. It is printable as a PDF file.
